Sherlock Holmes. The greatest fictional detective or may I say; consulting detective. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle left this world but left us mesmerised over the intriguing personality of Sherlock Holmes.

| Sherlock Playing Violon. |
On numerous occasions, the challenging role of Sherlock Holmes has been played by actors. But the day I saw Sherlock Holmes (2009 film), I was certain that no one can ever surpass the spectacular performance Robert Downey Jr.(Iron Man- for those who don't know him) was able to pull off. His ability to drag us to the edges of our seats and to make us feel the thrill in his suspicious eyes was admirable.
A friend of mine then recommended me to watch the Sherlock season; which aired on BBC. I saw the actor who was meant to play Sherlock and then, I kept eschewing my friend's recommendation. One day, I finally watched it. And I was shocked! The actor I had been undermining, Benedict Cumberbatch, turned out to be a strong competitor to my favourite. Sherlock's way of speaking blatantly, his facial expressions and of course, his leather coat and scarf were the most eye catching features.

| Sherlock Holmes (2009) The Art Of Baritsu |
Both the actors have done justice to their roles. It'd be very difficult for anyone to say which has advantage over the other. In my opinion, the excellency of both the actors runs parallel. Their attributes, in every aspects, are equal to one another. May it be finding someone's profession from the tiniest of details or may it be bullying people, both of them are above par. However, there's one quality which Holmes possesses and he outsmarts Sherlock 'cause of it.
Baritsu. The ability to plan one's combat before he gets into it.
If it was somehow possible to make both Holmes and Sherlock stand face to face in Baker Street, it'd have been difficult even for late Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Mrs. Hudson to choose
his/her Sherlock Holmes.
I really liked the iron-man sherlock holmes. Your'e right, he suited the character way better than the other person!!
