The Year Of Heroes

Tony Stark: If we can't protect the earth, you can be damned sure we'll avenge it.

Whether it be Tony Stark, Bruce Wayne or Peter Parker the year 2012 surely belongs to our very own super heroes. Had it not been there sacrificial efforts and earth pounding dialogues our mother planet would have been under great threat. Surrounded by Lokis army, horrified by crimial minds of Gotham City and victimized by biological attacks; Planet Earth needed its saviours to return.

Crowd: [chanting] Deh-Shay, Deh-Shay, Bah Sah Rah. Bah Sah Rah.
Bruce Wayne:        What does that mean?
Prisoner:                "Rise."

Rising, Rising up from a dream and realising that all of this was not true but instead a film. A lie, you were afraid of but wanted it to be true. Which man doesn't dream of Black Widow, who does not wishes to inherit Batman's wealth and who never wants to roam around New York City like Spider man?

The year 2012 marked a start and an end to a new era. An era without Batman but an era with Ironman, Thor, Hulk and a new Spiderman. The Box Office year reached its heights back in May when Marvel's most awaited film arrived at world wide cenimas. With Avengers earning close to 1.5 Billion Dollars at box office, a new wave of competition was seen. Followed by Avengers, The Amazing Spiderman took the boxoffice crown which was later snatched by most awaited fim of the year The Dark Knight Rises.
All the actors lived up to thier roles and won the hearts of their fans but what i think is that the final show down was between Tony Stark (Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist) and Bruce Wayne (It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.").

The two favourites of all were spectacular in the roles they pulled off. On one side Robert Downey Jr made audience to cheer, chant and clap while on the other, Christian Bale filled the hall with thrill suspense and tension. Both were extremely charismatic and attractive in their roles. The conclusion I give being a film maniac lands at the hands of Iron man but if i turn my self into a critic, no doubt Batman is a winner.
